‘Let’s Get Working’ is a free service aimed at providing intensive, personally tailored and ongoing practical support for people with long term physical health issues or disabilities.

The project is delivered by Employability Navigators, Community Connectors, Employability Trainers and an Employer Coordinator, offering access to specific support for both employment and health and wellbeing needs including community activity. The service will be delivered locally, as close to participants as possible, with a high level of outreach and flexibility.

We are the nationally accredited Volunteer Centre for East Sussex – promoting, supporting and developing volunteering across the county.
This guide provides advice on coping at work when you have a long-term (also called chronic) medical problem. The conditions covered include asthma, diabetes, cancer, arthritis or any other long-term medical condition. It is designed to help find practical solutions that will benefit both you and your employer.
Supporting, enabling and celebrating volunteering in all its diversity; we have support and resources for all aspects of volunteering. Volunteering is someone spending time, unpaid, doing something that aims to benefit the environment or someone who they're not closely related to. Volunteering must be a choice freely made by each individual.
An Access to Work grant can pay for practical support if you have a disability, health or mental health condition.
